Climate change, nuclear war, radicalism: we live in a culture of suspense. Humanity is moving so unstoppably towards the edge, that you might imagine we were enjoying the violence of our slow decline. This is a play about that impulse. No One is Coming to Save You takes place in the minds of two young people who can’t sleep. She is staring at a glass. He is watching TV in a foreign language. David Lynch meets Danny DeVito’s Matilda in this new play about being young during the slow cancellation of the future.
