Fringe First week two winners announced

Seven more shows make the list

The second batch of Scotsman Fringe First winners has been announced. Awarded in recognition of outstanding new writing at the Fringe, these shows join the six productions honoured last week.

The award is designed to encourage performers to bring new work to Edinburgh in the spirit of adventure and experimentation, with the victors selected by a panel of critics from The Scotsman.

Founded in 1973 by The Scotsman's original arts editor, Allen Wright, famous past winners include Stephen Fry, Rowan Atkinson, John Godber, Simon Callow, David Greig and Douglas Maxwell.
