Omar & Lee Present: We Are All Idiots
A highly energetic and delightfully silly set of parodies and mime

Omar Ibrahim and Lee Drage certainly put a lot of energy into their show's opening, dressed as fitness instructors greeting all who enter the room and then readying us with a chuckle warm-up. What follows is certainly very well-performed but some parts, particularly early on, resemble more of a showcase of acting skill.
Areas lack discernible punchlines and a running joke in the first section hinting at a homoerotic tension between the pair seems rather juvenile in this day and age. However, by the time we reach the 'mosque nightclub' skit with some incisive points about Islam, things start to pick up.
They morph into 'sexy bastards' in a simple but effective mime routine of a typical lads' night out before following that up with a parody of the hysteria expressed on social media by the prominent celebrity deaths this year so far (though c'mon fellas, Prince was well unexpected). This is nicely pitched and shifts into a delightfully silly conclusion with impressions of two members of the Rainbow cast. Not so idiotic as it happens after all then.
