Brooklyn cabaret star provides one of the most feel-good experiences around at 2014 Edinburgh Festival Fringe
Anyone suffering from festival fatigue should look no further than Amy G, as Entershamement is one of the most feel-good experiences you could have. The cabaret star from Brooklyn blends slapstick humour, a fantastic voice and some very special talents to create an unforgettable experience.
The show sees her look back on the most shameful moments of her life, then reclaim and celebrate them by travelling through a series of transformations in a feat of incredible physicality. She's feathered like an ostrich on roller skates performing on German TV, encourages us to throw stones at her while dressed as a hula girl in a very unusual bra and dons the chicken costume that did nothing for her on French TV. Flashing her knickers as well as her cleavage boosters, she offers it all up for all to see as she morphs into the next incarnation. We aren't 100% safe however, as at one point she crawls through and on the crowd, who all are so won round by her that we're only too glad to help out. If that wasn't enough she also shows us what she can do with a kazoo, and for those of you haven't already viewed it on YouTube, don't look, just go and buy a ticket.
