Daft, cute show for all the family

comments

This article is from 2007.

Plested and Brown’s fifth Fringe show is a quaintly conceived offering about Terry, a Hotpoint washing machine repair man who risks life and limb in only half a van working in the not too distant future Watford by Sea. Ingenious scene changes, self-reflexive mugging to the crowd and a bit of social commentary makes for a decidedly daft, cute little show that is almost for the whole family. (Marissa Burgess)

Plested and Brown's new show follows an unlikely hero who fixes washing machines. Ingenious scene changes, self-reflexive mugging to the crowd and a bit of social commentary makes for a decidedly cute little show. 'Part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2007'.
