The Charles Theatre, Baltimore (my local arthouse); the Earl Theatre, Baltimore (now closed – a great porn theatre); the Nuart Theatre, Los Angeles (Pink Flamingos played there for ten years); the Elgin Theatre, New York (now closed – Pink Flamingos premiered there).

Meryl Streep, Brenda Lee, Isabelle Huppert.

2 films you would love to see at the EIFF

Gus Van Sant’s Parnoid Park and André Téchiné’s The Witnesses.
