Bizarre ménage à trois musical
This article is from 2007.
Teacher, novelist, playwright, children’s book author and now filmmaker, Christophe Honoré is fast becoming the name to drop on the world film festival circuit. His latest work, his first musical, starring rising French stars Louis Garrel and Ludivine Sagnier, has already drawn comparisons with Jacques Demy’s garish, groundbreaking 1964 musical Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Prepare to smile . . . or cringe.
