An hour of stand-up on the subject of Starbucks doesn’t sound like everyone’s cup of java chip frappuccino. But Powell’s intense, nervy quest to track the two closest UK branches of the coffee chain actually proves quirkily entertaining. His odyssey is a boffin’s wet dream of pie charts and PowerPoint presentations with much of its gentle humour being derived from an almost religious zeal.
