This article is from 2007.

Performance poetry is making great strides at Fringe 07, and this show, all about growing up (or, more accurately, not growing up) is lunchtime delight. Taking her cue from the audience’s written suggestions, Simpson swoons and sings some stanzas about food mixers and being the only one of her circle not to live their life chained to Radio 4. Utterly charming.

Pleasance Courtyard, 556 6550, until 26 Aug (not 13), 12.15pm, £7.50–£8.50 (£6–£7).
