Political bashings a definite highlight

Rich Hall

With his gravelly drawl and laidback delivery, Hall is easy company. His American/‘Scots’ comparisons have a crowd-pleasing ring, so too a funny skit about bears (particularly the Yogi variety), but his political musings and reflections on the world’s economic woes are where he truly excels. Tea Party bashings and a Cameron/Clegg one-liner are on the money.

Strident apocalyptic invective. Fabulations. Rich returns to Edinburgh after a sell out tour of the UK with a new show in a sweaty venue. Bad people welcomed. ‘Creeps up on you and ambushes your funny bone like no one else’ (The Scotsman).
