From Kill Bill choreographer Tetsuro Shimaguchi, this show has major crowd appeal. After Tarantino’s sped up Samurai sword fights, this slower more ornate version may disappoint film fanatics, whilst transfixing the majority of the awestruck audience. Fringe regulars, Yamato, have united with sword fighting specialists, Kamui, to craft a fast and furious display of swordsmanship with drumming any rock star would be in awe of. It has dramatic fights between warriors, a lover protecting his woman, a frustrated teacher instructing his geeky pupils and a frantic battle scene. A vibrant, energetic and fun way to spend an hour.
