Exploring themes of friendship and sharing, Blunderbus Theatre Company adapt Marcus Pfister’s popular storybook for the stage. She may be the most beautiful creature in the ocean, but the eponymous fish is ugly on the inside, and friends are thin on the ground. Through a series of catchy songs, she finally learns the error of her ways, and by the end we’re all up on our feet and dancing. The Blunderbus crew are talented puppeteers, engaging their young audience with an entire school of colourful fish, while their witty banter keeps grown-ups smiling, too. (Kelly Apter)
