Breakfast Bedlam, Live!

  • 18 August 2006

This article is from 2006.

Breakfast Bedlam is a simulated morning TV kids’ show that does its best to emulate the various segments that make up a real life programme. Prime time obsessed presenters, dwarf-obsessed floor manager, down-trodden runner, husband and wife newsreader team that hate each other and a (Nazi) boy-band are the main players. While there are many ideas that have been thrown into the mix, they don’t quite gel. This is mainly because the show is constantly going beyond the parameters of an accepted reality despite the early presence of the floor manager and runner. The DVD extras, which focus on five of the main characters individually, feels superfluous due to the lack of observation and low joke ratio.
