When trainee occupational therapist Mandy sets out to study the curative effects of gardening, it is not only the four displaced immigrants who benefit from this process. Through Siya, Nenad, Fadila and Warsan - immigrants from Iraq, Croatia, Bosnia and Somalia respectively - we are witness to a tender and amusing portrayal of the situation faced by asylum seekers in the UK. In this well-structured and beautifully paced play, Andy Barrett brilliantly tackles the distressing stories of all the characters with restraint and respect, allowing us to really see the problem from another perspective.
