Hooked to Infinity: Life After Life

This article is from 2006.

In a quiet, centred performance of led, meditative contemplation, Helen Fost, a shamanic healer and performer who has trained in altered and healing states of consciousness with modern shamans in Europe and the US and with traditional shamans in the Andes and the Amazon, offers her audience a restorative experience to which each will respond differently.

Using the immense power of vibrational sound, stillness and calm, Fost is creating an experiment in meditation in theatrical form. In the hurly burly of the Fringe one has certain expectations taking one's seat in a row set facing a small playing area. But by the end I felt I had entered not a theatre but an altered, benevolent state of being that was at once calming, enlightening and lasting. For that I am very grateful and recommend the experience. (Eliza Langland)
