I think you really need to live in California to fully tune in and appreciate this. Mostly delivered as monologue with some video interludes, it’s a series of episodes from the writer-performer’s life with occasional detours into a poetry slam contest.
Structurally, I think this needs a bigger hook somewhere near the beginning. ‘Being on the road’ was a recurring theme and if the writer made this a journey that pulled the audience in more rather than solely recounting his own experiences, it would make for a richer theatrical experience.
