Girl in Box
This article is from 2006.
At the centre of this jumbled play is a complex and twisted love triangle that questions morality on all sorts of levels. On its own it is completely engaging and compelling but the force and pathos of the situation is completely diluted by a jarring and irritating narration.
This annoying distraction aside, Girl in Box treads an interesting path through relationships, sexuality and psychological issues and is, by and large, well played out by a dynamic and competent cast. (Richard Biggs)
