Colin and Fergus – Rutherford Lodge

  • 11 August 2006

This article is from 2006.

After seeing this you feel that the title of the piece should be Colin & Dave (McNeill) with Fergus, as so much of the piece revolves around those two. The use of the character Rutherford Lodge (a sort of Sherlock Holmes figure) to create sketches around is good, but unfortunately does not provide much deep laughter. There is some good comic timing, but the gags aren't really new - although many of the middle-aged women in the audience seemed to like it. The delivery is good. They just need to work on the laughs.
