Jesus: The Guantanamo Years (2 stars)

  • 8 August 2006

This article is from 2006.

One of the potentially finest high-concept one-man shows of the Fringe - Jesus, history’s greatest stand-up, comes back to Earth and is detained by the Americans as a Middle-Eastern man who’s prepared to martyr himself for his faith - is let down by timid and hurried delivery. A shame, because the timely material probably looked good on paper. (David Pollock)
