Fusing the camp and the sophisticated, David Benson exudes a natural charm during the songs he performs with Dean Martin-style cool, and the anecdotes that interlink them. The latter occasionally threaten to enter self-indulgence but are saved by relaxed wit and the fact that he swaps his bank manager jacket for a sequined one for the final number. (Emma Newlands)
