Performers Danai Gurira and Nikkole Salter co-written piece deals with two women on opposite continents dealing with the same problem. A yuppie Zimbabwean news anchor and a working class African American woman are both diagnosed HIV positive, and find that they face similar dilemmas with misinformation, diabolically selfish partners and their own denial. The two performers are very strong, each presenting solos that, at their best, leave one gobsmacked, bringing across the desperate plight of these folk with splendid authenticity. On the down side, the piece is a little too long for its own good, particularly in its middle stages. (Steve Cramer)
