Falls disappointingly short of expectations
As Khorsandi’s reputation sky-rockets, her material about divorce and single motherhood falls disappointingly short of expectations. The show loses momentum for perceptible periods of time and if the jokes are a tad lacklustre, Khorsandi herself is characteristically effervescent, charming and still throws us a few morsels of edgier, un-PC humour.
