Legend of the Card Ninja

Jav Jarquin flips the whole concept of the card trick on its head, flinging playing cards like throwing stars to knock over small objects or embed themselves in pieces of fruit. Not all the tricks work first time, but warmly self-deprecating stand-up segments get the audience on side, so by the climactic stunt the whole room is rooting for him.

Disappointing.

A highly overrated act. Mr Jarquin failed to engage the audience properly, fumbling a number of his novelty card tricks. The audience seemed increasingly restless and largely unimpressed by his feeble attempts at magic come comedy.

Perhaps a little harsh, but we feel the Card Ninja's talents would be better received if you were either blind drunk or maybe a 6 year old boy.

Yours Truly,
