More cocky swagger and rattling melodies from the Tay
What is it they say about making it in the music industry? That it’s all about who you know. Well if that’s the case then The Law are going to be absolutely huge, championed by celebrity mates and indie rock royalty The View, that scruffy Dundee foursome, make scratchy riff-driven rock’n’roll as a means of venting frustration at ‘birds and bosses’. They completed their first toilet tour of the UK just over a year ago before a support slot with Kyle Falconer and co brought them to the attention of media types who were soon clambering to proclaim them the latest ‘next big thing’.
Second single ‘Ooh Ahh Up The Law’ is set for imminent release but before then the band have a triumphant sold out T on the Fringe show to play, and if their past performances are anything to go by, you can bet your bottom dollar it will be a wild one.
T on the Fringe, Cabaret Voltaire, 0870 169 0100, 5 Aug, 7pm, SOLD OUT.
