Sister Cities

  • 4 stars

Black comedy about four sisters, reunited after mum Jill Gascoigne slits her wrists. It's more West End than Fringe fare, but it's still a smart, accomplished piece of naturalistic drama. 'Part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe'

Jill Gascoine is one of the best actresses I have ever seen. She was great on television in the eighties and even better in Sister Cities. She makes you simultaneously laugh and cry, one of the best actresses ever.
