Oh water night!

Happily the rain didn't spoil this year's List Festival Party - if anything it enhanced the tropical atmosphere.

Burlesque stilt-masters waded through the crowd as Clarkson & Crouch provoked giggles with their slick comedy, topping off a dazzling line-up on the Outside Stage. Riotous Glasgow band Punch and the Apostles wowed the masses, while 'Cheerleader of Chaos' Wild Card Kitty thrilled a captive audience. Guests and performers rounded off the evening bumping and grinding to the Tackno DJs. Much like the Festival itself, this year's List party set new standards for merry-making. Roll on next year!

The fine acts that entertained us were:
Fool Koller Hill Street Theatre, until 25 Aug (not 13), 10.45pm.
Potted Pirates Pleasance Courtyard, until 25 Aug (not 13), 3pm.
On the Island of Aars Pleasance Courtyard, until 25 Aug (not 13), 2.10pm.
Bambi Killers - I'm Not Convinced Holyrood Too @ Faith, until 7 Aug, 11.30pm.
Dance Ihayami ClubWEST @ Quincentenary Hall, The Royal College of Surgeons, 24 & 25 Aug, 8.15pm.
Arirang Party ClubWEST @ Quincentenary Hall, The Royal College of Surgeons, until 25 Aug, 10.45pm.
Clarkson & Crouch - Away With The Fairies Gilded Balloon Teviot, until 25 Aug (not 13), 4.30pm.
Punch & The Apostles PRS New Music Stage at The Meadows, 10 Aug.
Kamui Zoo Southside, until 24 Aug (not 12), 10.30pm.
Carpetbag Brigade - You Don't Know Jack Rocket @ Demarco Roxy Art House, until 24 Aug (not 4-10, 17 & 18), 1.30pm.

The List would like to thank the staff at the Spiegel Garden, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the evening possible. Special thanks to Shane of Finix Productions, Innes of Montpeliers, the Tackno DJs and Paul Murphy from Eastern Digital Imaging.

We would also like to say a huge thanks to everyone at Tennent's 1885 for exclusively sponsoring the party, and for supplying delicious beverages.

The List Festival Party was managed by Rebecca Bantin.
