Gustavo Dudamel

With the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, he took the Edinburgh Festival and the London Proms by storm last year. Now, the charismatic 27-year-old conductor Gustavo Dudamel returns to Edinburgh with the Gothenburg Symphony. When he was appointed principal conductor in 2006, it was apparently love at first sight for Dudamel and Sweden’s national orchestra.
