This year at the Fringe I decided to steer away from all the big names and instead take in a few of the newcomers, (as I have nostalgic memories of when the fringe was full of newcomers with ticket prices no more than a couple of quid!).
Puellae is previewed as marking the debut of FraeNaewhere Theatre Company, so I decided to give them a try - and I'm really glad I did. It was funny, poignant, entertaining, slick and the two young actresses were excellent.
If you fancy supporting fresh talent in the fringe, then you could do worse than to go and see this new theatre company's first offering. (Probably would appeal mostly to a female audience though).
