Vocal is Lekka performed to great audience and media acclaim when it premiered at the Baxter Theatre Centre in Cape Town. Showcasing finely chosen songs spanning five decades, with a fresh a cappella and acoustic approach, the production combines rhythmic and vocal harmonising, using non-musical instruments and objects. Six award-winning performers and singers flaunt some great melodic rhythms with slick and sometimes funny choreography. The Cape Argus gave it four stars and said 'Music and entertainment lovers can expect an evening filled with humour and music that comes with the incredible harmonies of these multi-talented performers'.
