Edinburgh-based pianist, Arash Bazrafshan, debuts at the Festival Fringe this year with a solo, improvised performance. The show comprises of four improvisations, each inspired by an original piece of artwork provided by Arash’s sister, Roza Bazrafshan. Arash was motivated to start playing the piano when he watched a documentary on Beethoven when he was 19. Fascinated by Beethoven and his successors, Arash went on to study performance and composition. He performed at numerous casual venues in Edinburgh, before putting on his first formal concert at St Marks Church in January this year. All ages.
