Michelle Wormleighton - Bewildered
This listing is from a previous year. Search for current listings.
Michelle Wormleighton subverts the surreal and theatrical in her massively acclaimed* hit show which has already wowed the promenades of Bognor and Hove. Expertly combining sharp satire and whimsy with a unique brand of compelling storytelling is not Michelle’s strong point. However, the wealth of effort she has put into the whole shebang is to be acknowledged, despite a performance so wooden that audience members at some shows genuinely believed they had wandered into an am-dram production of Pinocchio.
*Not massively acclaimed.
To correct a recent misapprehension - several reviewers at preview shows rather unkindly suggested that Michelle was making it up as she went along; however, nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, she lacks the improvisational skills to even dream of attempting such a thing. It is meticulously scripted.
General note on housekeeping - Due to her chronic bowel fatigue the show will consist of 12 (twelve) 5-minute sketches with a half hour interval between each.
Please come and see her show - despite having little to live for, she is absolutely full of fizz. Burritos available.
Praise for Michelle Wormleighton: 'Ghostly!' Fringe Bonanza Magazine (Following a complaint from Colin Asbroth, editor of said publication, we are obliged to point out that the review was subject to a printing error, and was originally intended to read 'ghastly'.)
