Born 2003, Olivier Award - Best Entertainment on West End, La Clique travelled the world playing sell-out houses: London, New York, Sydney, Paris, Montreal… Returning to Auld Reekie by royal appointment, redux and deluxe, newly minted by the Queen for this special Jubilee year, featuring the majestic Gerry Connolly as HRHerself. Beneath the canopy of The Famous Spiegeltent – the brightest star of the La Clique firmament and grandest dame of all – a right royal variety spectacular! Ages 14+.

It is quite astounding how a tent can be put up in the middle of George Street ...I did not think it would work ....I am used to seeing La Clique in the lovely atmospheric George Square....and was quite tentative and slightly irritated as we were instructed round by black clad security .....I really thought ...this is not going to work...
However once we got near the Speigle tent ...great professionals welcoming as always ...and once inside, we were transported to what the Speigle tent + LaClique do so well together...make you feel you are on a film set...
The queen lulls into a false sense of security ....
As always..... prepare to have your mind walking a tightrope ...as what you think you see ..... hear (Mikelangelo..booming voice....caresses your ears until you listen carefully) ........ constantly challenges ....
Struttingly disturbing Peacock man....trapeeezing floozies...2 beautiful gymManstics (different but equally spellbounding)...hoolahooping fabulousness.....list goes on....all supported by masterfully talented pianist...all ringmastered by by magic man .....
