Unique chance to hear celebrated pianist in lunchtime concert. First touching the keyboard at six, Hye-Kyung has accomplished dramatic success with winning several world competitions and claimed the Musician of the Year title in 1988 by Dong-A Music-Magazine. Since 1984, the 53-year-old professor has taught keyboard students at Chung-Ang University, one of the leading music conservatoires in Korea, and gained a great reputation for her excellent students. This free concert offers a great chance to hear her beautiful touching tunes in St Giles’ Cathedral. Supported by the Chung-Ang University Research Grants in 2012. All ages.
