Joe tells his sister he's getting a sex change. She overreacts. Excess is a comedy about siblings, sexual identity, drag queens and isolation. It's part of Negative Capability's double bill by RSC prizewinner Freddy Syborn, co-writer of BBC 3's forthcoming sitcom, Bad Education, and a Sky Little Cracker. Praise for previous work: 'One of the most exciting and exhilarating pieces of new theatre at the Fringe' (BritishTheatreGuide.info). 'Unwavering virtuosity … magnificent, heartfelt and poetic confessions leave you reeling from such uninhibited honesty' (ThreeWeeks). 'This is a play that touches upon greatness … a triumph' (Scotsman). Ages 12+.
