The Royal Mile Tavern at 127 High Street is a focal point for Edinburgh’s acoustic gigging professionals. Soloists, duos and bands performing every night of the week from 9.30pm - 3am. Open from 9am - 3am every day. Presenting free stand-up comedy from 1pm and live music from 9.30pm including acoustic rock, indie, blues and folk. Food served until 9pm. Ages 18+.

Whistlebinkies is Edinburgh's largest free entry live music venue open seven days a week from 12pm - 5am. Situated just off the historic Royal Mile. Music includes indie, rock and roll, blues, folk, funk and soul. Situated beside the Tron Church on the junction at South Bridge and the Royal Mile. Whistlebinkies presents over 75 bands and soloists throughout the Festival featuring local and Scottish talent, smaller touring artists alongside tribute and cover acts. Free comedy every day until 9pm. Ages 18+.
