12-year-old Evan Goldman is having a difficult time - his parents are in the midst of a divorce and his all-important Bar Mitzvah is on the horizon. To make matters worse his mother announces they are leaving New York and moving to the quiet town of Appleton, Indiana. During this fun, fast-paced musical Evan is forced to make new friends and some very difficult decisions. Will he make the right choices? Join Stafford Gatehouse Youth Theatre as they present this high-energy musical containing an unforgettable rock score from Tony award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown. All ages.

A fair effort by the young cast, personally i did not feel that there was enough maturity within the actors to pull off the production effectively, although some of the performers have talent and potential i felt the performance to be underwhelming, yet i would still encourage others to watch this performance there are some gems within. perhaps for a younger generation
