Poet Gerry Loose and artist Donald Urquhart have collaborated on a series of works commemorating the increasingly endangered varieties of apple. Loose took Victorian engravings of such disappearing varieties as Embroidered Apple, Hoary Morning and Swan's Egg and added text to them, while Urquhart set each engraving next to a block of colour drawn from the various shades found on the fully ripe fruit. Part of Edinburgh Art Festival.
