Italian international guitarist Luca Villani plays a wonderful selection of guitar masterpieces crossing three centuries of styles and feelings. The Bach Lute Suite 995 is deep and poignant with its famous Fugue, Sarabande and Gavottes. The Fernando Sor virtuosic Grand Solo is the most imaginative sonata of the classical era, while the Granados Maja de Goya and Albeniz Torre Bermeja and Sevilla bring us to the Spanish sensuous serenades. Finally the Piazzolla Cinco Piezas sublimates the spirit of Tango, full of seduction and nostalgia, creating impressive effects on the six strings. All ages.
