Marcin Wasilewski Trio

Current stars of the ECM label, and with good reason. They have all the attributes of the classic ECM sound: lyrical music packed with lovely melodies; pushy propulsive acoustic drumming; sometimes bright and positive, sometimes wistful, melancholic, but always assertive and attractive, with exemplary musicianship. They are one of the great European jazz piano trios.
