The Piano Project
This blend of live film and physical theatre re-imagines the mysterious life of Andreas Grassl. Dubbed 'The Piano Man' by the British press, his fragmented journey inspired much international attention and fascination. Depicting a world stunned by his silence, the play relates a moving tale of identity and isolation. Through its intricate use of onstage cameras, its portrayal of Grassl is by turns surreal, intense and darkly humorous. Devised by the company, 'The Piano Project' makes for a truly original experience.

This was fantastic! I arrived with no strong expectations and left knowing I'll return for a second viewing. A great fusion of multimedia, physical theatre and fantastic story telling. Fantastic cast and powerful intense story line - my hidden gem of this years festival. Try it!

A really intruiging and original piece of theatre. I was completely blown away by the use of live cameras feeding to an on stage screen and the soundtrack which blends classics with new and unusual pieces. Not only a technical tour de force, but slickly acted, very funny and also emotional at times. Very well done! - I will return to see it again.
