More Light Please
Natalia leaves Poland for Ireland at the age of 16, full of hope and excited about starting a new life. A job in a shoe shop fails to prevent feelings of loneliness and alienation. She really wants to be on stage, to show the world that despite the odds she will make it. She just needs more light. This award-winning play, based on the experiences of co-writer and star Natalia Kostrzewa with music by the Tiger Lillies, aims to establish a better understanding between economic migrants and the communities in which they live.
