The Creative World of Alan Davie celebrates the remarkable breadth of work from one of Scotland’s most respected and influential artists. As Davie approaches 90, this major exhibition will include specially selected examples of his work in sculpture, painting, tapestry and rug making, jewellery design, printmaking, drawing, photography, poetry and experimental jazz. Also Showing: Mr Gumpy and Other Outings: Celebrating 50 years of John Burningham's Work 7 July - 5 September July: Tues to Sat 11am – 5pm August: Mon to Sat 11am - 5pm (Wed open until 7pm) Admission Free This exhibition celebrates the rich and varied career of one of Britain's most distinguished and best-loved illustrators and authors. Jerwood Contemporary Makers 2009 5 August - 26 September August: Monday to Saturday 11am - 5pm (Wednesday open until 7pm) September: Tuesday to Saturday 11am – 5pm Admission Free Jerwood Contemporary Makers is part of Jerwood Visual Arts, a series of exhibitions and prizes celebrating emerging creative talent.
