Grumpy, intelligent worldview
It’s difficult even to imagine a Rich Hall performance being less than entertaining. His intelligent, grumpy, pragmatic worldview is broadcast by way of believable absurdities, anarchic situational vignettes and memorable wordplay. A pity he feels the compulsion (like many of his contemporaries) to focus on politics and current events, which are lamentably sane and linear, at the expense of his best and most skew-eyed material.
