Brummie comedy
Most notorious for her line about the name on her pilot’s licence, Brummie comic Mirza here conjures up plenty more where that came from. The point she makes is as important as the quality of her material, lampooning the audience for choosing to see ‘something ethnic’, but after a promising take-off, the quality quickly nosedives, and a home video parody at the end makes for a disappointingly bumpy landing.
