It’s never a good sign when the compere insists that a comedy show is a ‘two-way thing’ and if we can show the acts some love then they will make us laugh. I’d always thought the latter came before the former, but neither is in much evidence as Motherwell’s comedy clan treat us to a giggle-free hour. Ned character stuff by The Wee Man raises the mood temporarily but love certainly isn’t in the air.
