The Hero Show is a befitting title for Christmas’ latest venture as the Kiwi resembles something between Clark Kent and the Incredible Hulk. He throws himself into storytelling, gripping the audience’s attention with red-cheeked fury, though at times his joke-lite anecdotes are too lengthy. The recurring theme strengthens a mostly muddled set but his super-energetic climax leaves you on a high.
