Comedy show that fails to develop
Goggin gives a show about breasts, breasts and breasts. While the primary topic of discussion in a performance titled Double G does not come as a surprise, there’s a lack of depth in material and little in the way of quality content in a show that becomes repetitious and tiresome.
Gilded Balloon Teviot, 622 6552, until 28 Aug (not 22), 2.45pm, £7–£8 (£6–£7).

Some of these brief List reviews aren’t really useful in terms of deciding whether to see an act. This is a good case in point.
Anyone glancing at the publicity for this show knows it’s about Breasts, so don’t waste half a 2-line review reiterating this point. The rest of the review consists of vague, formulaic phrases that might apply, indifferently, to any act the author didn’t like.
I went to see this show last Sunday. GG had a great rapport with the audience and the show was both fun and funny. Glad I ignored the review.
