Now whittled down to a lean and confident trio, WitTank’s evolution into a formidable sketch troupe is arguably complete. Performances are accomplished without being distant or over-rehearsed. Pacing is fluid yet relentless. Material is frequently excellent, with darkly plausible social scenarios abutting rambunctious grotesques. A roundly successful slab of high-octane/high-brow character comedy.
