Mediocre material and rather uneasy delivery
You want to like him, you really do. And in another context maybe this gentle show about Dowdeswell’s discovery that his great-grandfather worked with Charlie Chaplin would pass muster. Alas, his mediocre material and rather uneasy delivery are roundly outclassed by even the second tier of Fringe comics. An entertaining Samuel L. Jackson impression aside, pretty underwhelming stuff.
