Board Meeting: Phil Nichol
Drawing on the board, chatting, posing and having the photo taken takes Phil Nichol about three minutes. This comedic whirlwind is what whisked his reputation into the public eye, and this year the storm is again channelled into the unnerving world of lounge-poet Bobby Spade. In a recent interview with The List he described it as 'dark, poetic theatrical jazz silliness.' So there you go.
Phil Nichol: Welcome to Crazytown is at the Stand 1, York Place. 6.50pm 6--30 Aug (not 16). £10
